- Appearance:
In general appearance the Spinone is more hound than Pointer. The head as a whole is rather large and long, its skull of medium breadth and a trifle domed. The long muzzle is square with a slight arch of the nasal bone, and the stop is not very well defined. The jaws are strong, the teeth even and the lips not pendulous, while the nose may be brown, light brown or even flesh-colored. The nostrils, however, must be well developed and wide open.
