The Cesky Terrier, also called the Bohemian Terrier, is short-legged and moderately long. This breed has a long head, brushy beard, mustache and eyebrows. The body is solid, but not heavy. There ears are triangular and fold forward close to the head. The head is long, but not too wide, with a well-defined stop.

Trainability: Cesky Terriers are very loyal, obedient, and much easier to train than other terriers. It is important to socialize puppies, letting them meet various people and different animals in positive circumstances.
With Children: These sweet, happy dogs are wonderful with children.
Other Pets: This sociable animal gets along well with other dogs and household animals.
Climate: These dogs adapt well to all climates.
Indoor / Outdoor: The Cesky Terrier is a good dog for apartment life. They are moderately active indoors and will do okay without a yard.
Exercise Required: The Cesky Terrier enjoys running and playing through a wooded area or open countryside. They will enjoy a long walk on lead. They are small, but make fairly good jogging companions. Ceskys have an average demand for exercise.
Grooming Required: This breed needs to be trimmed regularly, leaving the hair long on the stomach and legs and around the face to form the moustache, beard, and eyebrows. The longer hair needs to be brushed and combed at least twice a week to prevent tangles.
